S. Reinier deSmit has been working in the visual creative field for many decades now. As a child of 8 years old two important things happened to him: he started accordion lessons, and a good family friend gave him an old 35mm camera. Though that camera doesn't exist anymore, and Reinier no longer uses film, his passion for photography has only increased in the many following years. His acceptance and downright zealousness of computer based digital photography has kept him on the cutting edge of modern photography and its many variations of style and mood.
Reinier is also an excellent communicator and is a natural leader. Recently he has created a collective of Vancouver Photographic Artists, PixCult, in which he and other group members support each other in bettering their photographic skills and passions. He remains committed to his craft and art, and if you read a few of his testimonials you'll see that this commitment has made many a client very satisfied in their work experience with Reinier.
Some have even enjoyed his accordion playing!
